      ศึกษาสถิติพื้นฐานที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ และประยุกต์ใช้ในด้านรัฐประศาสนศาสตร์เพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ พรรณนา พยากรณ์ แนวโน้มของตัวแปร และวิเคราะห์ตัวแปร นอกจากนั้น วิชานี้ยังศึกษาแนวความคิดและกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงประจักษ์ โดยครอบคลุมปรัชญาพื้นฐานและเป้าหมายของการวิจัย การออกแบบวิจัย การสร้างมาตรวัด การทดสอบความแม่นตรงและเชื่อถือได้ เทคนิคการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างข้อมูลโดยวิธีสถิติแบบใช้พารามิเตอร์และสถิติที่ไม่ใช้พารามิเตอร์  รวมถึงการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนมัลติแวริเอท  การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุ การวิเคราะห์เส้นทาง การวิเคราะห์จำแนกแยกกลุ่ม การวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์แคนอนิคอล การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบ เป็นต้น
     This course introduces basic statistics relevant to Public Administration including providing descriptions and predictions as well as determining relationships and analyzing variations. In addition, this couse also includes the study of concepts and the empirical research process, including foundation philosophy and research goals.  Examines research design, scale construction, validity and reliability, and techniques for finding data correlation either with or without parameters. Examines multivariate analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis, discrimination analysis, canonical analysis, and factor analysis.
